Fixed Gens

Acknowledging 1946 and the promulgation of the UN declaration of human rights as a new beginning, but cognisant of the necessity of order within the disorder of daily and registered life, it is our considered opinion that a fixed gens should consist of a male and female derived name from marriages contracted via a state in any year from 1st January 1946 until the 31st December 2000. So, by way of example, the late Bobby Kristina Brown would properly speaking be from the “Fixed Gens” – Brown-Houston because her mother, Whitney Houston married her father, Bobby Brown in the year 1992; should she have had a child with her partner, Nick Gordon-Bouler and named her, Whitney after her mother – that child on account of being born after the year 2000 would also be from the fixed gens – Brown-Houston and the fixed gens Gordon-Bouler – regardless of what actual surname she is given or adopts.
