The second honour is to any hereditary or initially hereditary or aristocratic title created or granted or in use after the year 01 of the gregorian calendar and before the year 1922 and/or recorded in Samuel Johnson’s A History of the Yorubas, or a title of similar stature, provenance and publication before the year 1946 which clarifies or outlines aristocratic, or high administrative titles, with the highest precedence accorded to the Ooni of Ife, followed by the Erelu Kuti, the Alafin Oyo, and the paramount customary rulers of the six constituent geo-political zones of Nigeria, and the paramount customary ruler of the United Kingdom of Great Britain. These are the titles to be looked to for warrants of quality and discernment as regards a fine line of taste.
