• Original copy of the poem ‘Old Whisperer’ – by Dele Fatunla, written on the occasion of his paternal grandmother’s death – date unknown.  The poem reads:

Old whisperer of prayers, rubbing her palms

And spittle prayers into my chest

My father’s mother –

Grand mother

Turning earth

We bid farewell.

Condition:

All items are in – and are to be kept in the same location as a collection. The items are in good condition though composed of flammable objects – and vulnerable to water spillage – care must be taken; where they are deemed relevant to any curatorial activity – the items may be lent out subject to a lending fee, or an alternative arrangement.
