Omowa Distributed Archival Policy

The items in question:

  • Have a connection to recorded, registered or remarkable public life – that is the subject, producer of the item is either a marked public figure by (Conquest, Election, Noteworthy Award, or Seminal Work)
  • They are Black African and have a connection to the African Continent
  • The item is useful or valuable in itself as a noteworthy object (Photograph, Book, Music Title, or Cloth)
  • The item has its own creative value
  • The items are physically portable by one person in a rucksack or similar contraption –
  • The items have a distinction that marks them out if they are a mass produced object (E.g. A signed book, a bullet-riddled shirt, or an altered cloth)
