Mbari is a sextet with a “Quin or Qink” at the centre (Qink is on its own – Quin or Qing is either single, paired, or symbiot) – and anchored in poetics either of faith, physicality or dialogue – and draws its spirit from the ante-bellum international artistic movement in Nigeria during the 1960s; at its most basic it is a unit of participative involvement in market and society.
